Mystery Dungeon Rp/Story

We can atleast go check for survivors....you never know.

*Sam is still staring through the binoculars*
Sam-" Kane, it's a beachside town. They wouldn't have let the town burn down unless they had no choice. We've already got a job here to deal with some Pokemon that were terrorizing the place... if they're still there, they might be two strong for just us kids."

So what do we do? Just go back and let the local authorities handle it?

*Sam's foot starts tapping his side as she tries to think of what to do*
Sam-" Those are only on the west coast... there are none here. We are the authorities... I don't know."

We could always let a higher ranking team do this mission instead, or we could go down and check things out.
*He looks at her*

Sam-" If anyone is alive, it might be too late if we wait... I still don't know, you pick."

*He sits there thinking*
Go search for survivors...?
Yes<----
No
*Kane looks at her and nods*
We should be careful though...

Sam-" Of course, I'm the master at being careful!" :D
*She reaches up into Fluffy's post and breaks off the arrow, omnomnoming on it while walking towards the town*
Sam-" Pointy goodness." <3

I have a feeling there will be a lot of fourth wall breaking here...
*He follows right behind her*

Sam-" Nah, Fluffy ain't got the cahones for it."
*As they get closer to town, the crackling of the burning buildings gets louder, as does the smell of burning wood in the air*
x_X Sam-" Eww..."

*He sniffs the air and cringes*
Bleck...!

*Sam ducks behind a burning building, trying not to be seen if there is anyone still left in town. She soon comes to realize that they're all alone*
Sam-" There's no one. No bad guys, no good guys... no one."

Wouldn't there be burnt bodies...?
*He starts sniffing around*

*Sam looks down at the ground, seeing spots where people were obviously running*
Sam-" No bodies, no blood, no people... wow, something must have taken everyone away."

I wonder what though...I'll see if I can find a scent...
*He sniffs near the spots*

*There are no scents leading anywhere. It's as if everyone just disappeared.*
Sam-" Tell me if you find anything...."
*Sam starts pushing the burning logs around, trying to find something that would lead her to where everyone went*

*He sits down stumped*
This makes no sense....there are no scents.....

Sam-" Maybe they were all taken away and then the town was bur-"
*Sam gets cut off as the ground shakes, making her stumble around. The burning house she was sifting through cracks a little before collapsing, right on top of her. She only lets out a small squeak before she gets covered up by the burning logs*

*His ears perk up and he looks towards the house*
Sam?
*He runs over and starts pushing logs and debry out of the way*
Sam?!

*The logs all begin to slump and fall even further, revealing a giant hole in the ground. Sam is laying at the bottom of it, groaning as she lies on her back. She's fallen so far that the top of the hole is only a dim speck of light in the distance*
