Mystery Dungeon Rp/Story

*Melody is carrying Lilly to the meeting place as fast as she can. It doesn't take her long to reach the warehouse and stop at the entrance.*

Melody: Derek I brought her!
Lilac: This is fun..until you shock yourself.

*Derek pushes open the metal doors to the place and glares down at Lilly.*
Derek-" I can see that.... Put her inside, if you must. And watch out for the wire."
*He nods down at a thin clear wire running across the entrance's ground. Just set to kill anyone who comes in that's unwanted.*

*Lilly whimpers and her ears go back.*

Melody: Derek just who are you worried about coming in here the guy you were looking for? *She steps over the wires gracefully and carefully.*

Derek-" Anyone, really. Old habits die hard, especially when you're surrounded by people you want dead."
*Crossing his arms, he follows Melody.*
Derek-" So tell me little dying fox. Why are you here?"

*Lilly looks up at him but refuses to meet his eyes.*

Lilly: Melody said if I haven't truly been with anyone an examination will prove it. Thats why I let her bring me here.

*Derek picks up a small jar of warm water and starts to swirl his finger around in it.*
Derek-" Yeah. She's right on that one. But what she say doesn't matter. If I'm going to get my finger anywhere near you, you're going to ask for it yourself."
*He nods to a wooden table for Melody to lay Lilly down on.*

*Melody goes over to the table and sets Lilly down and steps back.*

Lilly: I'm not thrilled at the idea but its not just my life on the line.

Derek-" And that's why you're either going to ask, or die a very painful death. Given that it's been a few hours, I would only guess that your blood is beginning to thicken. Feeling a bit sluggish? Can't think straight? Feeling dizzy at times? Eventually, your blood is going to clot. Your heart is going to push those sharp clots of blood through your body, tearing you apart from the inside out. Hell, I might as well have just replaced your blood with acid."
*He glances down at Lilly while still swirling his finger in the water.*

*Lilly turn her head and closes her eyes.*

Lilly:Please just do the examination.

*Derek smirks a bit at Lilly, knowing she's feeling bad over the whole ordeal.*
Derek-" Well if you want me to do it, then stick your nose to the table and put that rear end of yours up in the air. Melody, this would be the part where you turn around and don't look."

*Melody has already turned around as Lilly does what she was told.*

Lilly: So was this what the aliens told you to do when they took you to their spaceship? *She still has her eyes closed and seems to be trying to lighten things up for her own sake.*

Derek-" Just shut up."
*Putting the jar of water down on the table, he grabs the base of her tails with the hand that's not wet. Jerking upwards a bit, he starts to give her an examination with his wet hand.*
Derek-" Let me see.... I think that.... What th..."
*He jerks off to the side a bit and gets a ._. face.*
Derek-" ...Oh God..."
*He slowly pulls his hand away from Lilly and backs up a bit.*
Derek-" ...That can't be right..."

*Lilly lets out a loud yelp and whimpers as tears come to her eyes.*

Melody: What is it?

Derek-" Umm.... best explain it privately Melody."
*Wiping the finger he gave Lilly the examination off on his feathers, he fumbles with the bottle a bit before placing a blue pill down in front of Lilly. He wraps an arm around Melody and starts leading her out of the room, into a back room of the warehouse.*

Melody: Alright.

*Lilly slowly looks down at the blue pill and takes it.*

*Once he's out of the room, he stands in front of Melody and looks down at the ground, thinking deeply.*
Derek-" Well, I was wrong about the Blaze thing... but I think it doesn't much matter at this point. I felt something in her that I shouldn't have..."

Melody: What do you mean? *She tilts her head to the side a worried look on her face.*

Derek-" Well, I felt a lot of hard scar tissue all over her insides... how it got there is a mystery to me. How she hasn't bled to death by now is an even bigger mystery.... I respect how innocent minded she is and how proper she's always wanted to be around me, but she really should have noticed how much blood she was losing and said something to me over the past two years...."

Melody: That is a problem, do you think she might of told Shadow or someone and they might of thought it wasn't a big deal? Also I think it might be a good idea to find out how it happened...well if she lives that is. She got that pill a lot later then you did and has been walking a lot. There no way to say for sure if that pill will stop the poison long enough for her to live to get the antidote.

Derek-" Yeah. You're right. Concentrate on keeping them all alive first... Don't think it much matters if I take the pills or not. I'll get hurt, but I'll still live. She can have my share while I make the antidote, you gather more materials for the suppressant pills."
*He starts walking back into the main room with Melody.*
Derek-" Alright, Melody? You're going to go and get some more of the materials for these pills. They're made of sunflower seed oil, and a special blue fungus that grows on a river near here. You'll need to gather a lot of it, and quick. The fungus is only blue during a full moon light tonight. Sun will be up in a few hours, so don't dwaddle. Lilly? You're coming with me. We need to find some clay and oils to make the antidote. Probably be best if Melody makes the stuff for the suppressants and carries them right to Blaze, Nova, and Tasha. We have enough in this bottle to keep you going with me."
*Clicking his fingers in Lilly's face, he points to the door and starts walking out of it, throwing a cloak over his shoulders.*
