Garret: "I'm Garret. An older version of you told me to come here, that you'd train me."
Lucario: "Hm... Prove it."
Garret: "How? My powers don't work."
*Lucario focuses, and a Light Lucario and Shadow Lucario appear next to him.*
Lucario: "Do that."
*Garret focuses, and Light Eevee and Shadow Eevee appear.*
Lucario: "Good... I will train you."
Garret: "Really?!!"
Lucario: "Yes. Follow me."
*Lucario starts walking through the field to a cave.*

Alice: "Hey, Sam, do you have any idea where your dad is?"

*Garret walks in the cave and looks around.*
Lucario: "My name is Lucretian, but you will call me Master. Your training begins now."
Garret: "Yes Master."
Lucretian: "First, you must think of all your emotional attatchments, especially those closest to you. Let them fill you, empower you, strengthen you."
*Garret smiles as he thinks of Sam. He does as Lucretian says.*
Lucretian: "Have you allowed all the emotion to fill you?"
Garret: "Yes."
Lucretian: "Good. Now... Let them all go."
*Garret stares at Lucretian in disbelief.*
Garret: "WHAT?!!"
Lucretian: "To be able to use your powers fully, you must let all your attachments go, and simply stop caring about them."
Garret: "I'm not letting go of Sam! I LOVE her!"
Lucretian: "All the more reason to let her go..."

Lucrecian: "During their primal stages, our powers are activated by emotions. To be able to control them, you must fell almost no emotion in anything you do."
Garret: "I... I can't do that."
Lucrecian: "Do you want to know why your powers stopped working? Because your love of Sam is blocking them. If you let her go, you'll be able to use them again."
Garret: "... No. It's not worth it."
Lurecian: "It's not your choice to make. As the Guardian of Light and Shadow, you must learn to use your powers to the fullest."
Garret: "No! I'm not giving up Sam, no matter what you say!"
Lucrecian: "Then you're sealing your powers away for good, and I am wasting my time. Come back when you're ready to unlock near-unlimited power."
*Begins meditating. Garret leaves.*
