Ninth Palaver

Both my grandmas are. The one taking me to the game paid for all my books in college, the other always takes care of me.

Well I'm gonna shoot for doing it Weds/Thurs.

Cool deal. I may have an interview for a job upcoming, if they can fit me in. If I get it I'd be full time, though its in sales so I'm a bit weary. You know me, I'm not the um... well, I guess imposing might be a good word. Though what was cool was they said they promote from within so if I work hard i can be a manager which would be nice.

I was looking at sites earlier ot put up my story. I may put my Soul Cal one on Fanfiction and bite the bullet on it. Though i saw another site (called something like a place of our own or something), and its a beta, but you acctually have to get an invitation to join. So when you go to register you have to ask for an invitation.

Sounds like you have two nice grannies. I never really did know my grandma from my mom's side; she died when I was nine (on my Birthday nonetheless) and lived in a different state, and I didn't see her much. Though my Mom and Grandpa told me she was a nice lady, so I'll take their word for it.

As for my other grandma, who passed in February, she was the best. Always wanting to take us kids out to lunch or whatever, probably because we were her only grandkids she really ever saw. One set of my cousins lived in Florida, so that explains that; my other set of cousins always lived only 5-20 minutes away from her for most of their lives, but they were never really the kind to go see her. ANYWAY... She was the best.

Good luck with the job interview, though I'm sure you won't need it; you've got it.

I think everyone's grandma is nice really. That's sad though she passed on your B-day. I go and see my one grandma almost every day but thats cause I get dinner there. Even then Id still stop up and see her and my grandfather, just to see them I think.

Like I said, I don't know if I'm a sales person. But we'll see. If for nothing else I'll get good interview experience.

SO far as I can tell, it doesn't look like there's any higher standard. Just sounds like people being snobby.

Yeah, it does sort of stinks. I know it hurts my mom a lot during my B-Day, since her mom was like her best friend.

But your grandma sounds awesome.

I got called in for a second interview. I'll basically be shadowing someone in the position i would be taking and see how they do it and if i want to and if they think im able too I guess.

I'm glad you got a second interview. It's a little weird for a shadowing to be a second interview, but hey, it that's how they like to do it.

Well it seems like a fast track thing and like they don't want to waste a lot of time on people to find out they don't want ot be htere.

I got a call yesterday after going to the baseball game and have a phone interview right before that.

Nothing really new with me. Watching WWE Summerslam right now. Faker than ever, but I've been a fan of Undertaker since I was just a little tike. And since it's only $10 a month for the WWE Network, much cheapER to watch the PPV nowadays, I thought I'd watch it. Really only like him and Sting, but Sting only wrestles like once a year now since he's approaching - on the ladder half to - 60.

I have a friend whos into the wrestling thing that's always posting stuff on facebook I nevver understand. But he knows its fake too, which is good at least. and I see. So were you bummed when guys like Rowdy Rodder Piper and the American dream dusty rhodes and the macho man randy savage all passed away recently? or is that before your time/outside WWE?

But thats cool. I can get behind a deal. I finished another chapter, I think Im down to my last one before the epilogue chapter.

They were a little before my time, besides Macho Man w/WCW, but I always revered them as legends. I think my dad was hurt more than I, since he saw them, especially Dusty Rhodes, when growing up. It stinks that Dusty and Piper died like within a month of one another, but what are you going do.

Very nice, you'll be done before you know it. I have about 4 1/2 chapter still to type before incorporating all the notes I have; the chapter I'm on currently has been taking a while because I decided to add the notes in while typing. Probably just going to wait to do that until after they're all typed like originally planned. XD

ah I see. I know my freind was pretty upset over it.

I had my interview today. They ffered me the job basically on the spot after, but I dont know. I dont know if its totally safe.

It's a sales job right? If so, I understand your hesitation; never know about that type of stuff.

I wouldn't really say he's older. He's my age. But yeah, he gets pretty into it.

Yeah in a sense its a sales job. its trying to turn people onto wind energy but you can still use the state provider for energy.
